Sunday 17th December 2023
EM

New Year's Resolutions Christmas is nearly behind us, and all of the dieting we will have done in the past year to get that perfect bikini body has been totally undone. We will have eaten more food than is normally possible in a week, never mind a few days, and now we solemnly vow for the New Year that we WILL get it off again. Could a lie detector test help victims of abuse?

Friday 26th May 2023
EM

Sexual assault is one of the most terrifying experiences that a person has to endure. It's not just the act itself, but having to live with the trauma for a lifetime. It isn't something that goes away and remains with all victims indefinitely. Some do get closure to a certain extent if the perpetrator is charged and justice is served. We would hope as a society that all survivors of this atrocity get justice and can try to move on; however, this is seldom the case. Shocking Statistics In the year ending September 2022, the highest number of rapes was recorded by police at a staggering 70,633. During this time, only 2616 people were charged with the offence. This is only the…

Lie Detector Tests for Theft in the Workplace

Wednesday 17th May 2023
EM

In 2021, the finance director of the Cornish recruitment consultancy Jambo Ltd. was jailed for six years. Nicky Retallik swindled the company to the tune of £1.4 million. This devious fraudster transferred funds into his own personal bank accounts that should have been paid to other firms. This ongoing embezzlement went undetected for nine years. During the court hearing, the judge was told that the losses had prevented the company from being able to afford to provide the employees with pay raises and had, in fact, caused them to make some employees redundant. All of which, as the finance director of Jambo, Retallik was fully aware of; the judge commented that had he not been caught, he would have still been…

A Special Fathers Day Gift for You

Monday 15th May 2023
EM

In honour of Father's Day on 16 June 2023, we thought it would be good to take a look at the white lies we were told as children. We all know that the majority of the warnings our parents gave us when we were growing up were to protect us from harm, keep us healthy, and provide us with manners around others. We have all learned from these little fabrications of the truth, and let's be honest, many of these fibs have been passed down from generation to generation.  So, let's take a look at some and see why these little tales have been around for so long. See how many you can remember and/or if you've told them to…

Friday 31st March 2023

We all have busy lives and trying to find the time to do anything, let alone a lie detector test can be tough. We have enough trouble trying to get a few hours off just for a doctors appointment, or organise someone to look after the kids so we can have lunch with a friend. Aside from this, although they shouldn't, people tend to feel embarrassed about telling anyone outside of the situation why they need a few hours away from work. It is quite difficult to get an appointment that will fit into our working schedule and this is why we have decided to offer office location lie detector tests in Solihull and Coventry on a Saturday. The earliest appointment…

Thursday 23rd March 2023
EM

It is that time of year where we all look to do the deep (spring) clean of the house. This usually involves a thorough clean of our properties from top to bottom, removing the clutter that may have been sat there for years and maybe redecorating to freshen up a room. A fresh outlook. Whenever this task has been completed, we feel better inside and out, we walk through our neatly organised and radiant rooms and it gives us a boost. It has always made us wonder why we don't do that with our lives. It is commonplace at New Year that we will make a resolution to make a change, but these rarely make it to the end of the year.…
